2019 Marching Band Information
Dear Band Family,
Congratulations on a successful Band-O-Rama concert last night! Thank you to all parents who helped make the night a wonderful event and pitched in to help tear down our equipment. Bravo to the students on successful performances!
It is with a lot of excitement and anticipation that I release information for the 2019 North Lincoln Band of Knights Marching Band! The staff and I have already begun the design process for next year’s show, and I know it’s going to be a wonderful and exciting year next fall! Below are packets for the marching band, drum major auditions and student leadership interviews. All packets are also available on the website under the marching band tab and hard copies are available on the wall outside the band room.
Spring Training and Rookie Camp is May 6-10 from 3:30-5:30pm. Guard Camp is May 6-10 from 4-6pm. A parent meeting for all band parents will be on Thursday, May 9 at 6pm in the choir room.
START RECRUITING! Many times, a student will make a decision of whether or not to participate next year based on their interaction with friends! We have had students join marching band who have never played an instrument before… bring them to spring training! Grab a friend! I sincerely hope all of our returning members will march next year!
It’s going to be a GREAT season filled with excitement, hard work and wonderful memories. DON’T MISS OUT!
