Volunteering with North Lincoln Bands is more than lending a hand—it’s becoming part of the program. From supporting performances to helping host major events, volunteers play a critical role in keeping the Band of Knights moving forward.
No prior experience is needed. Whether you prefer working behind the scenes or engaging with crowds, there’s a role that fits your interests, schedule, and strengths.
Support students during rehearsals, competitions, and trips. Roles include chaperoning, organizing meals and snacks, and helping ensure student safety and comfort.
Keep the band moving behind the scenes. Help with props, equipment, transportation, uniforms, and all the details that make performances possible.
Provide direct support to specific groups like Guard, Winter Guard, and Indoor Winds. Assist with rehearsals, competitions, and the unique needs of each ensemble.
Support football games and other events by working concessions, coordinating volunteers, and helping deliver one of the band’s most important fundraising efforts.
Coordinate and support major events like concerts, the band banquet, and the Roundtable Tournament of Bands. Help with planning, setup, operations, and ensuring events run smoothly from start to finish.
Support the band through fundraisers, sponsorships, and donation efforts. Help organize campaigns, connect with local businesses, and build resources that sustain the program.
Help run the Band of Knights’ signature holiday fundraiser. Assist with setup, scheduling, sales, inventory, and creating a welcoming shopping experience for the community.
Help tell the Band of Knights story and keep everything running smoothly. Roles include publicity, social media, senior recognition, middle school outreach, and organizational support.
