Preview is a very special tradition for our county dating back 42 years (Well before NLHS was even an idea!). It is not a traditional competition with judges; instead it allows each band to perform for the other bands in the county and gives our staff an opportunity to view the show from the high vantage point of the stadium. Most importantly, it shows our unity as a county for music education… at the end of the day, we compete with OURSELVES, NOT OTHERS. Marching band is about the thrill of performance for an audience, and doing our very best! We want to give STANDING OVATIONS for the other county bands!
I’m excited for our first two public performances! Please let me know if you have any questions.
